IT'S HARD to feel clean when you're washing up in a grimy shower.
So, why not remove layers of mold and soap scum and let your shower shine again with these three tips?
Home hack expert Carolina McCauley used social media to share three must-try cleaning hacks to bring your aging shower back to life.
USE A DISH WAND
For an easy clean you can do on a daily basis, McCauley advised filling the handle of a dish wand with equal parts dish soap and vinegar.
Dish soap is a great cleaning product to use for showers and bathtubs because it breaks down dirt.
The cleaning mixture is dispensed out of the dish wand scrubber and unto the tile, taps, and doors, as you scrub.
Since the dish wand is small and easy to use, you can stash it in the shower to quickly clean up in between shampoo rinses.

USE A FLOOR SCRUBBING BRUSH
Give your shower floors a little TLC with the help of a floor scrubbing brush.
McCauley suggested using a long-handled brush to wash shower floors to avoid the discomfort of bending over or getting on all fours to clean the tiles.
Turn on the shower to wet the area, then squeeze dish soap across the shower floor and wash with the floor scrubbing brush.
The dish soap gets right to work as you scrub, so there's no need to let it sit – just turn on the shower to rinse the mixture away.
Experts recommend cleaning your shower tiles two to three times per week to ensure it stays clean and shiny.
TRY AN ELECTRIC CLEANING MACHINE
For the ultimate deep-clean, McCauley recommended using an electric cleaning machine to scrub away limes, rust, water stains, and calcium deposits.
And although this is a pricier suggestion, it'll be totally worth it in the end.
With the extendable handle, you'll be able to reach high walls, ceilings, floors, and shower doors without a problem.
Just squeeze out dish soap and let your electric cleaning machine do the work for you, as McCauley claimed they are "super powerful and convenient."
To avoid constant deep-cleaning, a cleaning expert previously recommended adding daily cleaning tasks into your everyday routine, such as cleaning the toilet and throwing in a load of laundry.
