World’s most sparkly townhouse opens in London – and you can stay for £99 a night has unveiled The House of Sparkle, a 2,000 sq ft town house drenched in all things glitter.

Located in central London, the dazzling property is the result of collaboration with designer Christian Cowan.

Some 1,000kg of sustainable glitter has been used inside the house, and 36,000 gold sequins were stuck to the outside.

There are 52,000 mirror ball pieces in the ‘disco party’ bedroom, and more than a mile of metallic streamers.

Inside the shimmering kingdom, everything from the floor to the ceiling has been given a glittery makeover.

The lounge is covered in pink glitter, the bathroom features blue glittery clouds and giant sequin rain installations.

Not to mention the bedroom, which has a gold-and-silver colour theme of streamers and mirror balls.

If that wasn’t enough, there’s even a dress up box of Christian Cowan clothes and a makeover station with yet more glittery things.

Christian said: “Inspiration for House of Sparkle came from my latest collection featuring shimmer, drama and of course, glamour.

“I’ve had so much fun collaborating with on the townhouse design – this is the first time I’ve channelled my vision into an amazing place to stay.”

Upon arrival guests will receive a hamper full of drinks, snack and ‘sparkly games’.

The house can accommodate two people and is available for three nights only from December 7 – 9.

Bookings for the glittery stay, which costs £99 per night, opens on November 22 and more information can be found here.
