WE’VE all lived next door to some questionable neighbours, who either don’t mow their grass, chuck junk outside or let the bins pile up.
Which is why one woman was shocked to receive a rude note from her neighbour, complaining about her meticulous gardening.
The homeowner lovingly tends to hanging baskets each year, producing beautiful orange flowers.
But it seems the colour didn’t go down too well with someone on her road, who had the cheek to send her a letter asking for a different shade.
They shared the scrawled note to Reddit, which even admits the blooms are ‘beautiful’ – before asking for a change.
It says: “Hi, every year you put out some beautiful hanging baskets.
It’s a lot of orange! Maybe white and red or a mix of colours.
“Do you think it would be possible to change the colour of the flowers please?
“It’s a lot of orange! Maybe white and red or a mix of colours. They would look lovely. Thank you.”
The tone-deaf note has been met with shock online, as people urged the woman to get even more orange plants to spite her neighbour.
Commenting on the note, one person advised: “Radical suggestion: she can get her OWN baskets and plant her OWN red and white flowers.”
Another suggested: “I’d be tempted to paint my entire house orange after getting something like this.”
A third said: “Add more baskets with even more orange flowers.”
Someone else thought: “Hell plant some orange trees too just for spite.”
While someone else added: “Post a note back that simply says ‘no’.”
