Why have they collaborated?

The second Adidas Originals x TfL collaboration follows the original TfL collab – which was to celebrate the 15th birthday of the Oyster card.

This newest drop comes in two parts: four trainers on December 8 – which are all coloured a royal purple in celebration of the new Elizabeth tube line.

And the December 10 drop has six versions of the continental 80s shoes, all themed with different tube lines, in varying shades.

How much do the trainers cost?

The prices for the limited edition trainers vary depending on the styles.

All of the styles bar the Falcons are £74.95 – not including postage and packaging.

The Continental 80 shoes come in six different versions – all incorporating 2 of the 12 tube lines into each pair.

Different colours and accents will represent the varying lines.

The grey pair with the green and purple detailing represents the District and Elizabeth lines.

A light brown pair with burgundy and yellow details is for the Metropolitan and Circle lines, and the dark grey shoes with pale blue and pale green detailing represents the Victoria and Waterloo & City lines.

There is also a black pair with red and brown accents – which is for the Central and the Bakerloo lines.

The pink and black accented pair of white trainers represents the Northern and Hammersmith & City lines.

And there is another white pair that represents the Picadilly and Jubilee lines, which of course has dark blue and grey details.

If the last collection is anything to go by – this collab will also sell out very soon.

However, the Oyster collection did include a whopping £80 Oyster gift card.

The new shoes are available on the Adidas website, and in all selected retailers.
