The appointment would be another sign the former Suits actress, 36, us keen to maintain connections to Prince Harry’s late mum.

Galvin Jr’s father, Daniel Galvin, who has also worked with Twiggy, Madonna and Nicola Kidman, told Daily Mail: “I would be so proud if Daniel’s designs were chosen for Meghan.”

Galvin Jr and Kensington Palace have declined to comment.

It is not known if any other hairdressers have been asked to submit ideas.

Harry has already made one connection to his mum by giving Meghan an engagement ring that contained two diamonds from Diana’s collection.

Speculation is also mounting around who will design Meghan’s frock.

In December, the first sketches of Meghan potential wedding gown were leaked.

Inbal Dror, an Israeli fashion designer, reportedly submitted her designs after an official request from Buckingham Palace. The three drawings were obtained by TMZ and shared online.

The first sketch show a sexy, floor-sweeping gown, with puffed shoulders and a neckline slashed to the waist. The cleavage is covered with intricate lace, which peeks out at the neck, wrists and ankles.

Dror has signed the design: “For Meghan Markle, with love Inbal Dror”.

The second drawing appears to show the back of the dress, with lace adorning the back and elegant train.

The third picture shows an A-line design with a skirt that flows out from the hips. The top features long sleeves, a low-cut neckline and a frill detailing around the shoulders. The hat has been swapped for a tiara.

The Royal Family had asked Dror to provide a sketch of a potential dress, according to the Jerusalem Post.

Dror, who is famed for her sexy aesthetic, is a favourite amongst celebrities including Beyonce and Naomi Watts.

Her designs tend to retail between £6,000 to £8,000 – but it’s likely that Meghan’s would spiral into the tens if not hundreds of thousands.

The Palace would not comment on the rumours. Dror was not available for comment.
