The £15 Viola Skin face serum has topped Amazon's best-seller list – and it promises to 'eliminate wrinkles and recapture youth'

Viola Skin's retinol serum has topped Amazon's best-seller list, claiming to "work on an extreme level" to "reverse signs of ageing".

The cream is made with three key ingredients – 2.5 per cent retinol, vitamin E and hyaluronic acid.

These components work together to "stimulate the generation of new cells", creating a "fresh, youthful appearance".

They're also said to tighten and tone, hydrate the delicate eye area and improve skin texture, leading to a "smoother, softer and more radiant complexion".

Sceptical? Retinol is one of the only proven anti-ageing ingredients on the market.

Hyaluronic acid works to hydrate the skin, while vitamin E is great for reducing the appearance of blemishes.

And if the reviews are anything to go by, the serum hasn't let customers down.

It's been voted one of the best products on Amazon, having amassed almost 1,500 reviews and being rated 4.5 stars out of five.

One comment reads: "Great product. Saw a huge difference after a week, skin appears smoother and softer."

Another person wrote: "I have now finished my first bottle and immediately ordered another."

The best thing about the serum? It costs just £14.97.

At that price, you might as well give it a go.
