A SECRET recipe to keep your towels super soft and make guests feel like they're staying at a five star hotel has been revealed.
Carolina McCauley shared the top cleaning tip in an Instagram video with her 2.6million followers.
The first step to pulling out "cozy fluffy towel perfection" from the machine is only using half the amount of recommended laundry detergent.
A second secret lies in the switch from softener to vinegar in the laundry softer section – a surprising but genius trick for many.
The self-professed "Home Hacks Queen" also suggested adding 15 drops of essential oils into the same tray for a relaxing scent.
These could include lavender and Chamomile, while Sandalwood has been known to reduce anxiety.

Sage and citrus lemon aromas could also be used for stress reduction and mood lifting.
Before placing the towels into the machine, Carolina advised adding one cup of baking soda to the drum.
When it comes to the cycle temperature, the Instagram cleaning guru recommends a medium setting.
These tips should leave you with "super cozy" and fresh smelling towels.

One follower who tested the method commented: "It works, finding out that the softener was making my towels stiff was curious."

When using products such as vinegar it is important to check whether it could irritate your skin.
Carolina also took to Instagram to share her tips on keeping your bed looking better than one in a hotel.
The first trick is to use a bed making tool, an iron-shaped plastic device that acts as a "mattress jack" and keeps it propped up.
And, an easy hack to avoid ironing crinkled duvet covers only requires some warm water and a spray bottle.
The third tip to recreate a luxurious bed is to "keep the sheets tag in the right hand corner so your sheet fits every time."
