Lidl has announced they’re starting their own ‘£10.50 dine in for two meal deal’ and it’s perfect for the weekend.
Yes, it’s 50p more expensive than the usual £10 for two deals we’re used to seeing, but following reports that Marks and Spencer may be ditching it’s famous ‘Dine in for Two’ £12 meal deal , it couldn’t be better timed.
Customers will be able to get a main, side, dessert, bottle of wine from just £10.50. Choices include delicious options such as Meatballs al Forno or Cottage Pie, and are perfect for cosy nights in now it’s getting colder.
The choices of mains include Deluxe Beef Lasagne, Deluxe Cottage Pie, Deluxe Meatballs Alforno or Deluxe Crispy Pancetta Mac & Cheese – priced at £3.99, alongside either Meadow Fresh Side Salad for 93p or Chef Select Garlic Baguette for 85p.
For deserts there’s Deluxe Melt in the Middle Puddings for £1.59, or Deluxe Cheesecakes for £1.69, and to wash it down diners can pick either a Cimarosa Cabernet Sauvignon for £4.25, or Cimarosa Australian Chardonnay for £3.99.
Ryan McDonnell, Lidl’s Commercial Director, said: “Our customers know that we provide great quality at brilliant prices without needing to offer meal deals. These latest additions to our Deluxe range really reinforce the amazing savings customers can get on luxury food and drink, every day of the year.”
