Jordan Brand Presents Holiday 2020 Retro Collection

Jordan Brand has officially presented its full Holiday 2020 retro collection. Following up the reveal of the Jumpman’s Holiday 2020 “Modern” collection, the twelve-style Air Jordan assemblage consists of beloved bringbacks, color flips, wild collage-like styles and fresh makeups alike.

Leading the collection off are four Air Jordan 1s — three men’s and one women’s. First up is the CO.JP “Midnight Navy,” a memorable colorway that first released in 2001 as part of the Japan-exclusive “Japan Addition” AJ1 set. Next is the “Dark Mocha,” a brown, white and black style that pulls its colorblocking scheme from the OG “Black Toe” and its hues from Travis Scott’s popular Air Jordan 1 collaboration. There’s also a patent leather Air Jordan 1 in black and gold — a familiar makeup that last released as an Air Jordan 1 Mid in 2003. The fourth and final AJ1 is a women’s white and green style inspired by Michael Jordan‘s 63-point game against the Boston Celtics in the 1986 NBA Playoffs.

A single Air Jordan 3 is set for arrival this holiday season as well: black, with classic elephant print plus purple and orange accents. Only available outside of North America, it adds colorful flair to a classic Air Jordan base. 1 of 2

The single most anticipated style from the dozen shoes in the collection may well be the Air Jordan 4 “Fire Red.” The third re-release of the OG 1989 style, this “Fire Red” marks the first of the three “Fire Red” retros to feature OG Nike Air branding on the heel. An AJ4 “Sashiko” is present as well, paying homage to an age-old Japanese weaving technique with a mixture of pattern-equipped canvas and twill textures. Much like the aforementioned AJ3, the “Sashiko” will only be available outside the US.

Wild “What The” makeups get a moment in the spotlight as well, thanks to the Air Jordan 5 “What The.” Combining pieces of memorable non-OG AJ5 colorways like the “Tokyo,” “Raging Bull,” “Green Bean,” “Army Olive,” “Quai 54,” “Bel-Air,” “Laser” and “Shanghai,” the “What The” is a colorful walk down memory lane for any Air Jordan 5 fanatic.1 of 4

Last but not least, the collection is rounded off by a women’s Air Jordan 8, two Air Jordan 12s and an Air Jordan 13. The Air Jordan 8 offers a premium lifestyle look with recognizable chenille tongue patches plus burgundy accents. The duo of Air Jordan 12s both play off of OG color schemes: one flips the Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game” for a suede-coated red and black look, while the other uses a long-standing mix of black and “Concord” purple. Finally, the Air Jordan 13 repurposes a “Hyper Royal” colorway for a sporty-yet-serious look.

Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2020 retro collection is set to begin rolling out later this fall on Nike SNKRS and Jumpman stockists like Foot Locker. Retail prices will range from $170-$225 USD.
