A foodie has shared how to make a delicious ‘Nando’s style’ chicken at home – and it couldn’t be easier.



Posting on TikTok under the username @thisisplanetfood, the social media user demonstrated how to make a ‘Nando’s style’ pulled chicken, using a slow cooker. 

The food whizz shared the recipe clip with the caption ‘If you love Nando’s, you’ll love this!’

In the video, the social media user demonstrated how to make the dish.

First of all, the foodie added four chicken breasts to a slow cooker.

Then, the foodie sprinkled over a two tablespoons of Nando’s peri-peri seasoning and 100ml peri-peri sauce before pouring over a can of chopped tomatoes.

Then, the food fan added a crushed up chicken stock cube, 50g of cream cheese, four cloves of diced garlic and lemon juice.

Once all the ingredients are added and stirred, the foodie left the dish to cook on low for six to eight hours.

Alternatively, this TikToker explained that if you are slightly more stretched for time, you can cook it on high for four hours.

Once cooked, the foodie then uses two forks to shred the chicken and topped it with coriander and parsley.

To serve, this Nandos fan added the chicken, halloumi, chilli jam and minted peas to a burger bun.

It’s safe to say that the fakeaway looks delicious, and clearly many others thought so too, as the clip has quickly gone viral and has amassed a whopping 2.4million views.

It has 68.9k likes, 563 comments and 8,034 shares.

Social media users were left with their mouths watering after the clip and many took to the comments to praise the delicious recipe. 

One person said: “That looks gorgeous.”

Another added: “Oh wow.” 

A third commented: “LOOKS PHENOMENAL.”
