I was fed up with styling my widow's peak so decided to shave it all off, it was a major fail | The Sun

A WOMAN has issued a stark warning for fellow beauty lovers to not shave their widow's peak.

Wanting to give her forehead a more round appearance, one woman decided to take a drastic step and shave her widow's peak off – but unfortunately, things didn't quite go to plan.

In fact, the result was such a major fail, the young woman, Ella Grane, from Los Angeles, the US, uploaded a video on TikTok to warn everyone to best keep the scissors away.

''saw someone else do this, thought i’d partake and show the real reason why i got bangs,'' the 20-year-old blonde wrote in the caption of the clip, which has gone viral.

Here, the young stunner shared a few snaps of her journey of growing the hair out – and it's safe to say, it got progressively worse.

Though at first, things weren't looking too bad, once the shaven hair started to grow again, it gave Ella's forehead a rather strange apperance.

As weeks and months went by, the short locks began to take the shape of an awkward mini fringe right in the middle of her forehead.

To make matters even worse, the bangs were so ill-placed, they didn't even cover all of Ella's foreheard.

Now looking back and hopefully laughing at the horrifying fail, the 20-year-old urged TikTok users to use this as a ''sign to not shave your widows peak [sic]''.

With over 2.8million views, the blunder has taken the social media platform by storm, leaving people in stitches.
