Editors' Picks: The Valentine's Day Gifts We're Getting for Everyone We Love — and Ourselves!

Kaitlyn Frey, Style & Beauty Assistant: There’s nothing more luxurious than a Diptyque candle, and that’s exactly what my mom deserves. This limited edition rose scent livens up any room and the gorgeous packaging makes it an extra special gift.

Kaitlyn Frey, Style & Beauty Assistant: For the past few years, I’ve spent my Valentine’s Day getting all dolled up to go out, but this time, I want to do something a bit more low-key with my man. While we kick back on the couch to binge-watch Fyre Festival documentaries, drink white wine and scarf down pizza, I’ll be cozying up in these supersoft knit from Lou & Grey that I’m treating myself to for the holiday.

Jackie Fields, Beauty Editor: Truthfully, I don’t have enough fingers for all the rings I really want, but this sparkly stack is atop my list because I can dress up one digit or split them up when I want to bling out a few fingers.

Buy It! Freida Rothman The Standards Stackable Rings, $275; nordstrom.com

Jackie Fields, Beauty Editor: Hi. First-time dog mom here. This validated that I am not a crazy person for gifting my pup a present, so I’ve ordered him a stylish leash inspired by the streetwear brand Supreme.

Brittany Talarico, Senior Style Editor: Instead of finding a skincare system that works for himself, my husband usually just steals my moisturizers and facial oils. But I’m breaking that habit by giving him the latest skincare launches from Ernest by Ernest Supplies, a new diffusion line from popular Ernest Supplies brand now available at Target.

The brand is launching five new products — a Matte Moisturizer, Soothing Shave Cream, Gentle Face Wash, Caffeinated Face Wash and Night Shift Recovery Serum (a face oil that’s meant to be used alone or combined with the face moisturizer before bed). The best part? Each product is less than $10. Maybe this time I’ll be the one stealing some of his skincare swag.

Brittany Talarico, Senior Style Editor: Do I need another leather jacket? Probably not. But do I love this cropped style. I do. It’s less bulky than my go-to moto topper and I plan to wear it with everything from floral dresses to denim and beyond.

Brittany Talarico, Senior Style Editor: All Saints (my go-to spot for sweaters, denim and outerwear) recently dropped a unisex fragrance range, featuring three different scents. “Sunset Riot”, which is a mix of pink pepper, rose and citrus with a base of cedarwood, was immediately my favorite, so I’m pitching it to my husband as a gift for both of us.

Andrea Lavinthal, Style + Beauty Director: A few months ago, my best friend asked me to help her find a “sexy” new fragrance and I recommended Tom Ford Lost Cherry, which is a seriously seductive blend of sweet and smoky notes. She loves it, so for Valentine’s Day, I’m giving her the brand’s new ruby-hued lipstick by the same name. Between the red-hot perfume and the “kiss me” lip color, her husband should send me flowers this year.

Andrea Lavinthal, Style + Beauty Director: I never thought I’d fangirl over a dentist, but then again, Dr. Michael Apa isn’t exactly your standard cavity filler. For starters, he’s a cosmetic dentist whose clients include Hollywood A-listers, Real Housewives and Dubai’s royal family. He’s also — and there’s no tactful way to put this — extremely attractive and super stylish. His famous veneers cost upwards of $20,000 so until I win the lottery, I’m gifting myself Dr. Apa’s slightly more affordable sonic toothbrush which he designed to be be “simple and effective, yet aesthetically appealing.” If I’m feeling extra generous, I’ll get one for my boyfriend too.

Megan Uy, Style & Beauty Intern: While I’m having a gal’s night in with me, myself and I, a bottle of rosé, and maybe with an appearance from Timothée Chalamet (my latest celeb crush) on my big screen on Valentine’s Day, I’ll be lounging in these mega-comfortable and stylish leggings. No woman can ever have enough pairs of leggings, so I’ve decided to splurge and buy myself these ones to make my stay-at-home holiday a smidge dressed up but still super snug.

Megan Uy, Style & Beauty Intern: My mom has been dying to get her hands on a Jo Malone frangrance recently and I knew it would be the perfect gift to get to show my love for her! Her favorite smell is anything citrus, so I thought this specific deluxe scent would be the best one for her with the burst of bergamot and the fresh cucumber.

Sarah Ball, Market Editor: My sister and I are very close and this year I want to get her something really special and something she can wear everyday, so I’m splurging on this beautiful charm bracelet from Monica Vinader. I love how modern yet classic the chain-link style is, and the pavé diamond inital charm adds a sweet personal touch. It’s something she’ll have for a long time and can add to!

Sarah Ball, Market Editor: My brithday falls right before Valentine’s Day and this year will be my big 3-0, so I thought what better way to embrace it and celebrate the year I was born than with it engraved in diamonds on a signet ring? I’ve subtly hinted to my boyfriend (by sending the link to his email!), so hopefully this will be on my pinky soon.

Buy It! Double Pavé Diamond Number Signet Ring, $375;  stoneandstrand.com

Sarah Ball, Market Editor: I’m obsessed with this new watch brand, Nacre (which means mother of pearl). Run by a brother and sister duo, who’s family has been in the watch business since 1949, all watches are impecably made and can be customized. I love the simplicity of the white face and calssic style of the black leather band with the gold hardware and pearl details (which are real fresh water pearls!). It’s so different from anything out there, yet so chic and timeless. Definitely worth the self-indulgence!

Sarah Ball, Market Editor: I know this doesn’t seem like a very exciting or thougtful for Valentine’s Day gift, but trust me, this is going to be a major hit. It’s hard to shop for a guy who has everything — he’ll buy all the new tech gadgets for himself, but it comes to clothes, he never splurges. He loves their underwear and tees and has been talking about trying these sweatpants for months.

“Ace” Sweatpants, $78; mackweldon.com

Sarah Ball, Market Editor:If you have kids, you know that this gift isn’t really for the child, although pink and glitter always sparks a smile on little girls. What’s more convenient than shoes you don’t have to tie? I got these adorable Crocs for my boyfriends niece. They are sure to be a hit with her and his sister!
