Consumer’s desire for coziness and comfort is making knitwear more relevant than ever.
Alanui, known for its luxurious cardigans and sweaters with a surfer vibe, for fall completed its men’s and women’s apparel ranges with cool knitted sets. They ranged from at-home cashmere joggers and hoodies, which will definitely work also for grabbing coffee or walking the dog, as well as more refined knitted pant and skirt suits – cool uniforms for hip creatives.
Along with new variations of the brand’s signature bandana motifs and tie-dye patterns, this season creative director Carlotta Oddi found inspiration in South American landscapes and textile traditions. Andean multicolor stripes, nocturnal desert scenes, as well as images of alpacas appeared on belted cardigans, mainly worked in cashmere and super fine merino wool.

Outerwear included a cocooning alpaca coat, while denim pants and shorts were paired with leopard sweaters, as well as with plaid flannel shirts in the men’s range.
Hats, gloves and long scarves were crafted from chenille, while a capsule of fringed and beaded slippers developed with Japanese footwear brand Suicoke added an extra punch of fun to the collection.
Knowing consumers are also more focused on home decoration, Alanui continues to expand its lifestyle offering, which now also includes big cushions and blankets.
