Milan-based stalwart Slam Jam is all about the bigger picture and its (Un)corporate Uniforms collection is something that aims to bring like-minded people together. Now, the multidisciplinary imprint has announced the second drop of (Un)corporate Uniforms, introducing a seven-piece capsule as “a casual and informal update to the status quo.”
Following the mantra of “A freely constituted cultural ecosystem framed by (Un)formal Membership and (Un)corporate Uniforms,” the capsule looks to form a contemporary understanding of what a uniform is. For Slam Jam, the uniform is something that is instantly identifiable and unifying of one and all, so it has created seven pieces that switch and match from one another for a full (Un)corporate Uniforms look.
For example, spray-on reflective details decorate the T-shirt and hoodie and this would pair with the metallic silver shopper, while the marbled bleached T-shirt with a chain logo penned by Fergus “Fergadelic” Purcell on it can be worn with the perforated hoodie.
This standalone Slam Jam project once again shows how the retailer is transitioning into becoming its own lifestyle category and brand. With (Un)corporate Uniforms, Slam Jam creates its own kind of aesthetic — one which you can be a part of head-to-toe if you copped its New Balance 991 collaboration by any chance, too.
