Pete Davidson made to stab David Blaine with ice pick for grotesque live trick

Pete Davidson had audiences gagging following his latest antics with illusionist David Blaine after he stabbed the star with an ice pick on stage in Las Vegas.

The 29-year-old star was called on to assist the magic man, 50, during his residency show at Resorts World on Friday.

Perhaps the most shocking illusion of the night, the comedian was directed towards a table holding four disposable cups that had been positioned upside down to hide what was underneath.

The Bodies Bodies Bodies actor was then instructed to select one of the cups and revealed what was hidden beneath it.

Asking the audience for some help, Pete picked up the white plastic object and looked down at a shiny ice pick laying on the table.

In a video obtained by TMZ, David was then heard addressing the object and what was to happen next.

He said: ‘You guessed correctly,’ while lifting up the rest of the cups to show the crowd they were all empty and continued on explaining, ‘You see, this is the game’.

‘Can you make sure this is sharp for real?’, the celebrated illusionist asked Pete and another volunteer by the name of Alex.

Both onstage guests felt the ice pick’s prick and confirmed to the jittery audience watching on that it was in fact a sharp point.

Next, the former Saturday Night Live host helped David secure a blindfold around his eyes and moved the magician’s hands into place above the cups that were rearranged on the table.

Counting down from three, the daring performer slammed his hands down on the cups scaring the audience before revealing to their relief they were empty.

Following a back-and-forth over his lucky escape, the clip cut out and gave way to a new segment that documented a trick much less risk-free than the first one.

In the footage, Pete was filmed piercing David’s skin with the ice pick and fans watched as the instrument neared the star’s bicep muscle.

Kim Kardashian’s ex-partner was then heard joking: ‘We’re going to be best pals after this. Come to Staten Island next weekend.’

The illusionist barely reacted as the sharp object moved deeper into his skin but the crowd’s reaction told the story as they grimaced and cried out before the ice pick finished its journey through the star’s flesh.
