Clogs continue to move the needle in the wacky world of footwear, and it doesn’t feel like the trend is going to die out anytime soon. Salehe Bembury has been creating a crazy amount of noise with Crocs, Ye is continuing to pump out YEEZY FOAM RNNRS, Birkenstock is teaming with Dior and Jerry Lorenzo fashioned his own luxe Fear of God California, and now Jordan Brand is about to cash in on the movement.
It was only a matter of time before the popular sportswear brand dipped its toes into this category and its forthcoming offering certainly has some striking elements to it. The exterior rubber shell of the model is shrouded in an off-white hue much like the very first “Ararat” YEEZY FOAM RNNRs, and features a sleek shape. Ventilation holes are cut out on the toe boxes, perforated textures arrive on the collars and the heels come built with a slit for breathability. The Jumpman logo is debossed into the lateral rear for more flair. Additionally, slip-on kicks feature a removable neoprene bootie that is completely covered in elephant print which gives them a signature look and feel.
No release date has been announced just yet, but you can likely anticipate these to release via Nike in the coming months.
For other news, the Air Jordan 1 Hi’ 85 “Black/White” is returning in 2023.
