J. Lo & A-Rod Had a Very Merry Christmas Together

There’s no denying Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez had a very merry Christmas. The couple shared photos on Instagram on Dec. 25 and proved the holidays are that much better when they’re together. Better yet, J. Lo and A-Rod rang in the joyous day by wearing matching flannel pajamas with their names embroidered on their shirts. Does it get any cuter than that?

Next to a photo with the Second Act star that the former professional baseball player posted on Tuesday, Rodriguez wrote, “Can you spot my favorite Christmas gift?” Hmm… we wonder what that could be?

Lopez also shared a series of Instagram pictures on Christmas Day and wrote, “Christmas 2018 #gratitude #peace #love #joy WISHING YOU ALL THE MERRIEST CHRISTMAS EVER. Love you.”

As you can see below, the singer’s photos show the couple in the kitchen grabbing some breakfast, the two opening presents and sharing a kiss, and, most importantly, spending time with family. Lopez’s mom, Guadalupe Rodríguez, and her daughter and son, Emme and Max, can be seen in her pictures, too. Yes, Lopez’s mom and twins also had flannel pajamas with their names on them. You can’t do Christmas without fun matching family pajamas, right?

It’s unclear if Rodriguez’s daughters, Ella and Natasha, spent Christmas with he and Lopez. Either way, the athlete seemed to have a lovely holiday with Lopez and her family. They both seemed to get a lot of great gifts, ate yummy food and danced around to holiday music. That’s exactly how the festive day should be spent.

The duo always do the holiday right. In 2017, Lopez and A-Rod spent Christmas together in Miami — their first Christmas as a couple. Similar to this year, last year’s special time was also all about blending their families together. It’s a tradition they’ve maintained, so much so Lopez, Rodriguez and their children all decorated this year’s Christmas tree together, as well.

Like Rodriguez told People in a December issue about their four children, “Our kids have become best friends and that keeps us both grounded and appreciative. We couldn’t have asked for anything better than the four of them getting along as they do.” Lopez also said, “Kids are so beautiful and open to love and new friends. I was so loving to his kids and he was so loving and accepting of mine, and they embraced each other right away. [It was] ‘I get a new bonus brother and sisters to hang out with all the time and it’s nice.’”

And now here they are yet again celebrating Christmas together — and in matching pajamas. It really is the most wonderful time of the year.
