Icy Hues Hit up the Winter-Ready notwoways "floe"

notwoways is firmly part of the burgeoning U.K. sneaker scene, harnessing the power of brand identity by releasing its signature silhouette in a slew of colorways fit for all weather conditions and occasions. Now, Callum McGinley and Rockwell Princely‘s London-based label is ready to battle the cold with its next offering, “floe.”

Donning a full “Ice Blue” tone, the sneaker comes just in time for the winter’s wrath and, of course, Christmas. Whether you decide to cop for yourself or your nearest and dearest, the sneaker provides its wearer with plenty of elements fit for tackling the tough conditions.

Suede and nubuck are weatherized, working alongside a pre-sprayed water-repellent coating that makes the shoes durable when wet. Recycled mesh and underlays continue notwoways’ subtle sustainable initiative, while perforated touches allow for breathability.

As for the sole unit, it has once again gone through a round of developments to make it the brand’s comfiest sneaker to date. Using recycled materials and no plastic as per usual, the sole is less chunky at the rear and finds a revised inside shape for better foot-hugging, in turn making the silhouette comfier. Likewise, Phylon balance technology makes the shoe comfortable further, all while reducing the likelihood of creasing.

House signatures like the “ntw” roundel on the lateral front-quarter, paisley detailing on the tongue, and a matching box all come with the shoe. Priced at £110 GBP (approximately $134 USD) and available in sizes UK 3-13, the “floe” will drop on December 12 at 6 p.m. GMT exclusively online.
