Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot has now given its Spirit of Big Bang Tourbillon a refreshing Carbon White makeover.
Measuring a sizeable 42mm, the unique tonneau case is crafted from a special carbon fiber material incorporating white composite inclusions. The dashes of pristine white are formed from glass microfibres, created as a non-woven fabric which helps to improve the breaking strength of composites and impregnated within the carbon fibers using tinted epoxy resin.
Enclosed within the special casing is the brand’s very own HUB6020, sandwiched between a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on top and a caseback constructed from the same material. The movement provides an impressive power reserve of 115 hours, with a five-day indicator at 8 o’clock, a tourbillon cage at 6 o’clock, and off-center hours and minutes at 3 o’clock. Completing the look is a white lined rubber strap for a sportier aesthetic.
Limited to just 100 pieces, Hublot’s Spirit of Big Bang Tourbillon Carbon White will go for $94,700 USD. Learn more on the watchmaker’s website.
