Last month, JFK’s only grandson Jack Schlossberg made waves after posting a surprising rant against his second cousin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and his candidacy for president of the United States, on Instagram.

In the video, Schlossberg, the son of Caroline Kennedy, claimed RFK Jr. was “trading in on Camelot, celebrity, conspiracy theories and conflict for personal gain and fame.” “I’ve listened to him. I know him,” he continued. “I have no idea why anyone thinks he should be president. What I do know is his candidacy is an embarrassment.”
With strong opinions such as these, and the courage to so publicly take a stand against his own family member, it’s no wonder people then started to wonder ‘Who is Jack Schlossberg?’ And, as it turns out, the answer to that question is quite fascinating.

All throughout his Instagram there are pictures of him paddle boarding in New York City. Whether it’s alone or with friends, it seems as if it’s Jack’s all-time favorite pastime.
He Made a Cameo in Blue Bloods

In addition to his studies, Jack made his acting debut in a short cameo during the season 8 finale of Blue Bloods. While sharing the news on Instagram, Jack couldn’t hide how happy he was for the opportunity. “I don’t make the rules, I just pretend to enforce them,” he wrote in the caption alongside a photo of him in a cop costume with the rest of the cast. “Cash me tonight on the season 8 finale of Blue Bloods my dream come true!! Best show in the entire world,” he continued.
He Is a Lawyer

On February 2022, he graduated from both earning a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration, People reported. And, earlier this year, Jack celebrated passing the New York State Bar. “TFW passed the bar — Jake Cyborg, Esq!” Jack wrote on Instagram, sharing his good news with followers.
He’s Also a Passionate Writer

Online, he used to write for the Yale Daily News and The Yale Herald while he was an undergraduate. In addition to the campus publications, Jack has also written stories for Politico, The Washington Post and The New York Times.
He Has Two Sisters

He Has a Special Connection to Japan

During the Obama administration, for example, his mom was the US Ambassador to Japan and so he would travel and even live there during that time. At Yale, Jack also graduated with a degree in history with a concentration on Japanese history.
“I learned a lot about Japan. But the most important thing I learned was about my own country, Jack said in his speech at the JFK Profile In Courage Awards in 2017, per Hollywood Life. “It was something I had been told all my life but never fully grasped. I saw how people around the world see America: a beacon of opportunity, stability and strength in a world of uncertainty. America’s historic role has been just that. America, as President Kennedy once described it ‘has always been a lantern in the dark for those who love freedom but are persecuted, in misery, or in need.’”
He’s Dabbled in Politics

it can be inherited,” he continued. “In President Kennedy’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, this quality seems to abide.”
