Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 pre-order and beta dates leak

It won’t be long until more is revealed about Modern Warfare 3, with dataminers finding references to an event planned for next Thursday.

Although it’s been officially announced now, there were so many leaks ahead of the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 reveal that we never actually learned anything new.

It was only meant to be a tease but while the implication was that more would be annouced soon, dataminers have already uncovered references to a ‘worldwide reveal’ happening next Thursday, August 17.

As is common, the reveal will also be the point at which you’ll be able to pre-order the game, with the event taking place within Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone – which is where the information was datamined from.

A few days before Gamescom does make sense for a first proper look at Modern Warfare 3, at which point Activision will likely announce whatever collector’s editions are planned.

Various other rumours, some of which have been around for months, suggest that the game will feature remastered maps from the 2009 version of Modern Warfare 2 and Outbreak Zombies mode.

War mode is also expected to return, as apparently will reload cancel and slide cancel. Perks will now be referred to as gear, with the Ninja perk returning as… Ninja gear.
