Following a plethora of boundary-pushing Spring/Summer 2021 designs, burgeoning Shanghai-born label untitlab has returned to cement its progressive style codes with a gender-defying range for Fall/Winter 2021.
Within the collection, the brand enlists new fabrics and silhouettes for now-staples in its footwear lineup — the Bio Trainer Canvas and Reel Derbies Canvas riff of past seasons’ iterations with a combination of white gesso coating and linen fabric, while the Bio Trainer Slip On adopts ultrasuede fiber for maximal comfort.
Additionally, a consciously-crafted TOLA capsule presents the Lucertola Belt Mix Hitch Boots, which features an environmentally-friendly leather upper and a belt attached to a zipper bag above the heel, along with the Lucertola Mix Reel Sandals.
Elsewhere in the lookbook, which plays with organic typography layouts to emphasize the radical nature of each silhouette, the label offers up a brand new Heel Sneaker that challenges traditional athletic footwear archetypes with double-take-worthy elevation. Rounding out the range, the all-black BDG Socks High Heels employ a stretch knitted fabric imitating that of actual socks and fronting bold lettering reading “VERSATILE” that spans across the wearer’s leg.
Indulge in untitlab’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection in the lookbook above, and peruse the full line on the brand’s website, where you’ll also find an anime-inspired campaign that coincides with the range’s futuristic approach to footwear.
In other news, Maison Margiela has released its Nylon Runner in a new “Black/White/Gum” colorway.
