Bebe Rexha revealed she was upset after seeing her weight become a searchable topic on TikTok.
The singer, 33, explained her feelings on Twitter after she noticed her body was trending on the social media video sharing app.
Posting a screenshot of the search bar that contained the words: ‘bebe rexha weight [sic]’, the star added an emotional caption sharing what had happened.
She penned on Twitter: ‘Seeing that search bar is so upsetting. I’m not mad cause it’s true. I did gain weight. But it just sucks. Thank you to all the people who love me no matter what [sic]’.
Bebe continued the thread by saying: ‘I’ve always struggled with my weight. A b***h likes to eat [sic]’.
Fans rushed to support the hitmaker, offering words of praise for her vulnerability and plenty of reassurance.
Not the first time the In The Name of Love singer has spoke openly about her body struggles, Bebe released a TikTok video in 2021.
She posted the makeup free video with the caption: ‘Honest update’ and shared the footage around the Christmas holidays that year.
In it she could be heard saying: ‘I know we’re all supposed to be merry and like: “Yay, it’s the holidays”.
‘I think I am the heaviest I’ve ever been. I just feel disgusting, you know, like in my own body.
‘I haven’t been posting as much because I don’t feel good in my skin. And when I don’t feel good, I don’t want to post.
‘All the body positivity that stems from me is probably a place of hurt and confusion of, like, I don’t know, like, how to help myself anymore or how to love myself’.
