Fresh off a collaboration with the iconic Eames Office, Reebok has partnered up with BEAMS and Paperboy Paris on a minimal Club C legacy.
Unlike the Eames collab, which features a number of pattern-heavy silhouettes, the Paperboy x BEAMS iteration is stripped of all color. The Parisian hotspot’s doodle logo is seen on the tongue, along with replacing the Reebook logomark on the base. Similarly on the back heel, Reebok’s logo can be found written on the heel tab in Paperboy’s pencil-thin typeface.
Paperboy founder, James Dridi has always had an affinity for sneakers and Japanese culture. As a friend to the team over at BEAMS, he saw the collaboration as a fun way to expand the offerings of his lifestyle brand. HYPEBEAST recently caught up with Dridi for our Sole Mates series to talk sneakers, Paperboy’s cult following and why you don’t need to be a hype designer to make fun collaborations happen.
The BEAMS x Paperboy Paris Club C Legacy will retail for $120 USD and be available on Reebok.com and select retailers on October 29.
In case you missed it, the Nike Dunk Low has been revealed in a “Reverse Argon” color scheme.
