Weezer‘s “All My Favorite Songs” rose to No. 1 on Billboard‘s Adult Alternative Airplay chart dated April 3, earning the rock band their first leader on the tally.
The band has earned five No. 1s on Billboard‘s Alternative Airplay chart but had previously only risen as high as No. 6 on the Adult Alternative Airplay chart with “(If You’re Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To” in 2010.
Weezer first reached the Adult Alternative Airplay with “Island in the Sun” in 2001, with the 18-year and seven-month span between their first appearance and first No. 1 marking the longest in the chart’s history, according to Billboard.
Billboard noted “All My Favorite Songs” also comes in at No. 6 on the all-rock-format, audience-based Rock & Alternative Airplay chart and at No. 9 on the Alternative Airplay chart.
“All My Favorite Songs” is the lead single from Weezer’s OK Human, which the band is set to perform for the first time during an orchestra livestream concert from the Walt Disney Concert Hall alongside the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Youth Orchestra Los Angeles on April 16.
