Ruth Langsfordhas paid tribute to her mum Joan on social media, who turned 90 on Friday 17 December.
In a series of snaps shared on Instagram, Ruth can be seen sat beaming beside her mother as they both enjoyed a glass of bubbly.
In a second photo, the pair posed with a gift Ruth gave her mother of frame with reading: “90 mummy 17th December 1931”, alongside “happy birthday”.
Ruth, 61, captioned the sweet post: “90 years young today! Mum that is!! She is amazing….still full of life and fun and always up for a glass of fizz! Happy Birthday Mum”.
Ruth’s friends and fellow celebs have since commented a string of heartfelt messages to both her and her mum.
Leading them was Katie Piper who said: “Wow hope I’m like this at 90! Happiest of birthdays”.
This Morning’sAlison Hammondadded: “just beautiful xx”, while Sarah Jossel said: “Just wonderful. Huge huge happy birthday for this incredible milestone xxxx”.
Another person penned: “Happy birthday to your lovely mom Ruth! Have a great night celebrating”.
“Amazing lady! Happy birthday to your mum,” added someone else.
Ruth’s husband and fellow TV presenterEamonn Holmes, 62, also commented.
He wrote: “A Glass of Fizz ? Like Mother like Daughter,” followed by a laughing face, a bottle of champagne, and two glasses clinking emoji.
“Many Happy Returns Mrs L x,” Eamonn added.
Ruth and Eamonn have been together for 25 years, and tied the knot in 2010.
The celebrity couple had co-hosted The Morning on Fridays together since 2006, but earlier this year passed the opportunity on to Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.

While they no longer hosted the Friday slot, they filled in for Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby for seven weeks over the summer.
Since then, Eamonn has announced thathe’s leaving This Morning to join start-up news channel, GB News.
He said in a statement earlier this month: “I’ve spent my career on broadcasting firsts and start-ups, and GB News is one of the most exciting yet. It’s just the kind of shake-up the industry needs.”
He added: “I’ve admired GB News from the beginning for its clever mix of punchy debate but delivered with warmth and even some fun.
“To me the greatest honour in journalism is to give a voice and respect to the unheard, and that’s exactly what GB News is all about.”
GB News’Simon McCoy has since stepped down from his hosting gigat the channel due to “personal reasons”.
