The father who was shot dead on Christmas Eve in front of his family has been named as the brother of Real Housewives of Cheshire’s Missé Beqiri.
Flamur ‘Alex’ Beqiri was shot in front of his wife and young child in front of his home in south London after answering the doorbell.
The 36-year-old record label owner was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of a health worker neighbour.
Bequiri’s Facebook profile photo had a picture of him and sister Missé with the caption: ‘Brothers!’
Flamur had moved to the United Kingdom from Sweden in 2016 during the same period his sister starred on the ITVBe series from March 2016 to May 2017.
He was uncle to Missé’s two children, Julian, five, with her ex-husband, Man United’s Anders Lindegaard, and two-year-old River, with Towie star Jake Hall.
Missé has yet to publicly comment on the tragic incident.
Following the shooting, the gunman immediately fled the scene on Battersea Church Road.
Metropolitan Police launched an investigation into the incident but no arrests have yet been made.
DCI Jamie Stevenson, of the Specialist Crime Command, said: ‘Our investigation is in the very early stages and we are still working to establish what the motive could be that has led to a man losing his life in such a horrific way, on Christmas Eve, in front of his family.
‘They have been devastated by this horrible event and are being supported by specialist officers.
‘We know that the victim was returning home with his wife and young child following an evening out, when he was shot just yards from his home.’
