Molly-Mae Hague has admitted she doesn’t like Christmas, revealing to followers on Tuesday that her parents’ divorce is the reason why she doesn’t buy into the most wonderful time of the year.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday to show off her impressive Christmas decorations, she revealed that she wasn’t ‘obsessed’ with the season.

Trying her best to get into the spirit, the Love Island star said: “I'm not obsessed with Christmas. I'm not going to lie, but I can appreciate cute decorations.”

After not being able to sleep, the blonde reality star – who recently discovered a cancerous mole – decided to hold a late-night question and answer session with her followers.

Unsurprisingly, Molly-Mae’s fans wanted the lowdown on why she doesn’t like Christmas.

“I’m honestly not sure,” the 21-year-old said, but determined not to swerve the question, she spoke candidly about her thoughts on the matter.

“Sadly, I do think it kind of stems from my parents being divorced,” she admitted.

Fans of Love Island will remember when Molly-Mae’s parents made an appearance in the villa to meet her now long-term boyfriend, Tommy Fury.

Not much is known about the pair, but her father, Stephen Hague was a big supporter of Molly when she was in the villa and would constantly tweet about how proud he was of her.

Molly continued: “It’s a little different when your family isn’t all together. I know this is the case for so many people. Christmas always brings up such mixed memories for me.”

Thankfully, Tommy and Molly are back living together after a period of separation where the pair were forced to live apart for Tommy’s boxing competition.

They looked happier than ever when they reunited on Sunday after Tommy’s impressive knockout victory against Genadij Krajevskij.

Molly went on to answer more questions including one about her five-year plan.

The Love Island beauty hinted that she wants to get married and start a family, answering the question with the engagement ring and pregnant woman emojis.

She added: “And a hell of a lot of work.”

Clearly dedicated to her brand new tanning range, Filter by Molly Mae, she teased that 2021 is set to be a “massive year.”
