Meghan Markle: Alleged Bullying Victim FIRED By Royal Family?

These days, if you see Meghan Markle and the royal family mentioned in the same headline, the story usually cemters around the latest evidence of their animosity toward one another.

So we understand if you’re a bit taken aback by the news that the royals seem to have cut ties with one of Meghan’s most vocal critics.

Especially since it looked like the man was in a position to help the royals rebuild their reputations …

As you may recall, Meghan was accused of bullying staff at Kensington Palace toward the end of her time in the UK.

There was a good deal of controversy surrounding the allegations, with informants coming out both supporting and denying the claims.

While there was talkn of an investigation, in the end, nothing came of it.

The whole situation was overshadowed by news that Harry and Meghan would be moving to the US and essentially relinquishing their royal privileges.

With Meghan gone, the reasoning seemed to go, what reason was there to investigate claims about her professional behavior in London?

Now, however, it look as though the royals decided to handle the matter privately.

And to the surprise of many, they’ve done so by cutting ties with the staffer who lodged the complaint.

The man’s name is Jason Knauf, he’s a Texas native who had been employed by the royals since 2015.

He started by serving under Prince William and Kate Middleton as Chief Executive of The Royal Foundation.

Once Meghan married into the family, he moved over to her staff.

Perhaps the royals assumed the two Americans would get along.

If that’s the case, they were sorely mistaken.

During the time he spent working with the Duchess of Sussex, Knauf wrote a letter to human resources that was later leaked to the British press.

“I am very concerned that the Duchess was able to bully two PAs out of the household in the past year. The treatment of X was totally unacceptable,” he wrote (the name od the staffer that Meghan allegedly mistreated was redacted).

“The Duchess seems intent on always having someone in her sights.”

The British public ate the story up at first, but it quickly faded from the headlines.

It was widely assumed the royals’ PR team would work closely with Knauf in order to discredit Meghan.

So this week’s news that he has been asked not to return to his position was highly unexpected.

There are many theories regarding the royals’ reasons for handling the situation as they did.

Some believe the royals were working with Knauf to leak the information of his complaint in order to distract from Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.

When the ploy was unsuccessful, they decided to kick Knauf to the curb in order to avoid arousing suspicion.

Others believe that Knauf was involved in the leak, and the royals resented it.

It’s not that they feel protective of Meghan, but a staffer who will leak private information will likely do so again, and the royals might have felt that they could not assume the risk of keeping Knauf around.

Whatever the case, it looks like Knauf won’t be doing anymore damage to the Meghan’s reputation — at least not as an employee of Kensington Palace.

We might never know the royals’ exact reasons for letting him go, but you can guess the dismissal didn’t have anything to do with their affection for Meghan.
