Marnie Simpson and Casey Johnson have been engaged to marry each other since summer 2020, but speaking in a new interview, they said their wedding is now on a "back burner" so they can focus their time on renovating their house.
The couple – who are expecting their second baby together – opened up in a new interview with Casey beginning to announce: "I think with us moving house and renovating, we've kind of put the wedding on the back burner at the moment and we're definitely going to get married Marnie, aren't we?"
"It's going to be something on a much smaller scale because we just want to put all our time and effort into the house," Marnie said.
"I want to have a holiday with Rox, just him before the baby comes, so that's more important than the wedding right now."
Casey added: "Definitely," to which Marnie continued: "Maybe next year. Next summer, end of the year, a winter wedding?
"I'm not too fussed."
Her beau then joked: "You just want my name!"
The Geordie Shore star confessed: "I do, I feel like right now I'm the only one that's left out.
"You and Rox and our new baby will be Johnson. And I'm not…"
"You will be," Casey added.

It comes after Marnie and Casey announced they are expecting their second child together, which the mum of one says will be her last baby.
"I would not go to three,” she told us. “I think you’ve got to find the balance for yourselves.
"We want to enjoy our lives as well. We’ve not waited too long to have kids and I feel like having two, we can give them the best life possible.”
Marnie, who shares two year old Rox with her fiance, added: "I feel like if I had more than two, it would be hard to give them everything I want to give them."
The reality star then opened up on her experience giving birth to her first son.
"I had such a bad birth with Rox, I have been advised to maybe opt for a c-section this time," she explained.
"But I still haven’t spoken to the consultant face to face, so we’re going to talk through my options.”
