Mariah Carey is releasing a series of remix EPs from her Universal Music catalog as part of her ongoing 30th anniversary celebration as a recording artist.
She has released the Charmbracelet EP featuring multiple versions of fan favorite songs from her 2002 album Charmbracelet.
“#MC30 is back with Charmbracelet digital EPs and HD videos!” Carey tweeted. “Yayyyy Charmie..!!! I’ve been told this album is sort of a fan favorite..! ‘Subtle Invitation,’ ‘My Saving Grace,’ ‘Yours,’ ‘The One’ and many others make this album a fave of mine!”
The new EP features dozens of fresh takes on tracks including “Through the Rain,” “I Only Wanted, “The One,” “Boy (I Need You)” and her cover of Def Leppard‘s “Bringing on the Heartbreak.”
Charmbracelet is Carey’s ninth studio album, which released on December 3, 2002, through MonarC Entertainment and Island Records.
Charmbracelet debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 241,000 units. The album was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments of one million units in the U.S.
