Gino D’Acampo is a well-known face on our screens having regularly appeared on This Morning leaving hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in hysterics. More recently the TV chef has tried his hand at presenting as he hosts Family Fortunes. But what is known of Gino’s family life away from the show?

Does Gino D’Acampo have a daughter?

Gino and wife Jessica Stellina Morrison share daughter Mia together who is seven-years-old.

Gino often posts cute snaps of Mia on his social media.

The chef and Jessica also have two sons, eldest Luciano and middle child Rocci.

Gino previously revealed his children’s book Get Cooking with Wiskella was inspired by Mia.

Talking of his new book on This Morning last year, Gino told hosts, Holly and Phillip: “I have been working on this project for about three years, inspired by my little girl Mia.

“She loves to cook, and she always makes up stories in her mind why she should cook something.

“I think one evening I was talking to her and I was like, ‘You know I really like this idea because for me as a cook its all about encouraging anyone to cook’, so if I can encourage a child to do that from a very early age that’s a win-win situation.”

Gino has previously spoken of how fatherhood has changed him after welcoming Luciano when he was just 17 years old.

He explained to Female First: “Everything changed for me when my first son Luciano was born.

“That moment makes you realise you are not here by yourself any more, and it is an experience that changes you. You have to provide for someone else.

“You feel this kind of responsibility a little when you get married, but it’s not the same as when you have children because they look up at you and you realise the responsibility you now have.

“For a short time with Luciano, this was daunting, but then you start to get used to the role and start making the same mistakes all parents make.

“You start to say the silly and inappropriate jokes in front of the kids that get you told off by your wife and you do what all Dads do. We are all the same, you know.”

Gino has spoken of how, when it comes to food, there is one rule his children have to follow.

He explained the rule while talking to Birmingham What’s On ahead of the opening of his restaurant in the city.

He said: “My children cook and explore a lot with food. We have a rule in my house that anything I put on the table, they eat.

“If they don’t like it, that’s fine, but at least they’ve tried it. And when I say anything, I mean anything.

“I once got them to try donkey testicle with butter, sage, salt & pepper. It was quite good.”

Family Fortunes will air tonight on ITV at 8pm.
