Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh has confessed she's been binging Married at First Sight for wedding dress inspiration as she prepares to tie the knot with her EastEnders fiancé Toby Alexander-Smith.
The 35-year-old – whose sister is Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh – said the dating show was her "guilty pleasure" and had come in handy when considering what look to go for on her upcoming special day.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, she said: "I’ve been watching Married At First Sight for inspiration. It's my guilty pleasure!
"So I’m torn between an hourglass dress and the big meringue."
Amy and Toby, 31, tell us that they like the idea of getting married abroad after getting engaged in Ibiza.
But they are yet to decide on a date, as Amy reveals: "We want Bonnie to be at an easier age where she’ll be handed over and fine, so we might do it in 2024."
And Toby added: "But we might also have a moment where we’re like, 'Lets just do it now!'"
Amy added that she was in total shock when Toby got down on one knee at a beach club overlooking the Ibiza sea.
She said: "I was in disbelief! I thought he wouldn’t be on that page, as we were so all-consumed by Bonnie.
"I was so happy and obviously said yes and just picked the ring out of the box and put it on myself! When he said he’d told my family I burst into tears. It was that feeling of how thoughtful he’d been. Time stood still."
Toby said: "I had a lump in my throat – any time Amy cries, I cry."
Amy and Toby told us they first met in the audience of Strictly Come Dancing back in 2019.
Sharing the news of their engagement, Amy posted a series of pictures alongside Toby with the caption: "Before. During. After."
One photo showed the pair enjoying a romantic meal and cocktails before the actor got down on one knee at a beachside venue overlooking the sea.
Toby also shared: "So this happened…" alongside a ring and a love heart emoji.
"Too exciting!!!!," Amy's Girls Aloud sister Kimberly Walsh wrote with six heart emojis.
Amy's co-star Michelle Hardwick wrote: "Gorgeous couple."
