Ed Sheeran has hinted that his upcoming album, titled No. 6 Collaborations, will include a collaboration with Bruno Mars.
In an interview, the English singer-songwriter discussed the 15-track album, which is set to release on July 12.
“With this record, I kind of want to put it out, and then run from it. I don’t see it as the next stage of my career, it’s just something I made and I want to put out,” Sheeran told radio host Charlamagne Tha God.
According to Sheeran, “This is a compilation album of artists that I’m a fan of.”
Sheeran said he initially had an idea of doing a song with both Mars and Justin Bieber but eventually recorded separate tracks with the artists.
The 28-year-old artist has also collaborated with Chance The Rapper and PnB Rock for a song on the album.
Sheeran has already released two singles from No.6 Collaborations Project – “Cross Me” and “I Don’t Care”.
