Dakota Johnson is a versatile fashion queen. From sheer bustiers and diamond bra tops to sophisticated suits in the daytime, there's nothing the actress can't pull off.
Proving our point to be true once again, Johnson attended a luncheon and screening of her movie The Lost Daughter in a chic alternative to the fail-safe day dress. On Sunday afternoon, the actress arrived at San Vicente Bungalows in a relaxed beige pantsuit, which she paired with a black button-down and dark brown leather Gucci loafers. She accessorized with a ruby and gold necklace and her signature fringe. Johnson was joined at the event by her mother Melanie Griffith whose sophisticated all-black leather look proved that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
The film's writer and director Maggie Gyllenhaal and Johnson's co-star Jamie Lee Curtis also joined the mother-daughter duo at the special viewing and gave a quick speech before the movie aired. The Lost Daughter initially premiered at the Venice International Film Festival back in September, where Gyllenhaal won the Golden Osella Award for Best Screenplay.
Ahead of the daytime soiree, Johnson slipped into another set of stylish separates at the 2021 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday night. Her bold look included a bedazzled plunging bra top, satin wide-leg trousers, and silver platform heels.
