Country singer Kylie Rae Harris has died.
The 30-year-old up-and-coming artist’s publicist confirmed that Harris died following a three-vehicle crash in northern New Mexico. The AP reported that another driver in the crash, who was 16 years old, also died. The third driver wasn’t injured.
“We are heartbroken to confirm that Kylie Rae Harris passed away in a car accident last night,” Harris’ publicist told Billboard. “We have no further details to share, and ask for privacy for her family at this time. Everyone that knew Kylie knew how much she loved her family and, beyond that, how much she loved music. The best tribute to her unmatched enthusiasm for both is to spread as much love as you can today, and listen to music that fully inspires you.”

Before her the accident, Harris had been heavily documenting her road trip on both her Instagram Stories and her Twitter account.
“Fuel range is 46 miles and I’m 36 from the nearest gas station,” her last tweet read. “Dead baby Jesus please don’t let me get stranded in NM.”
When a friend responded “see you tomorrow,” she replied, “can’t wait!”
Harris’ most recent music came in March of this year in the form of a self-titled EP. Billboard reports that she grew up in a small town near Dallas, Texas and grew up singing in church.
AOL will update this story when more details emerge.
