Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in mid-May 2022, starting with this pair… On May 5, Adele sparked rumors that she and her boyfriend of nearly a year, Rich Paul, had gone their separate ways when she celebrated her 34th birthday without the sports agent by her side. (He was seen partying in Miami with friend and client LeBron James.) On May 9, however, People magazine reported that the couple, who reportedly hit a rough patch earlier this year, belatedly celebrated her birthday in California’s Napa Valley on May 8. “Adele is still seeing Rich. They are both very busy, though,” said a source, noting that the superstar and her beau “see each other when they can.” Then on May 11, Adele took to Instagram to prove they’re still going strong by sharing a slideshow of photos with Rich including a shot of them each holding up a set of keys while posing in front of her newly purchased Beverly Hills mansion. The snap seems to imply that they plan on sharing the opulent estate.

On the May 11 episode of the “U Up?” podcast, Rebel Wilson — who looked super-slim at the May 10 premiere of “Senior Year” — revealed that she’s “happily in a relationship” after pushing herself “to date a bunch of people” during a “Year of Love” that saw her going out with “about 50 people” in 2019. “It really helped me find out what I liked and what I didn’t like. It was a fun thing and I don’t think anybody got hurt by it or anything and nobody else knew — just me and my close friends,” she said, according to “Entertainment Tonight.” Explained the Australian actress, “I said no to nobody. I went on some dates with some billionaires and then also some people who had nothing, it was the full spectrum of people. … For a woman my age — at that point I was 39 — I really wanted a relationship, but I had only had a few small relationships, so I had to just get more practice in dating.” Eventually a friend set her up with her current beau: “I was on and off on the Raya app, but this was a friend setup. He had known both of us for at least five years and he thought we would hit it off — and then we did! I think that escalates things quicker, meeting someone from a trusted source. I can trust that they are who they say they are, which is something that you don’t really know on the apps,” said the “Pitch Perfect” star, who was last linked to Australian professional tennis player Matt Reid.

According to multiple sources, the duo got into an altercation while the plastic surgeon was partying with model Katharina Mazepa at a Miami nightclub on May 7. Lisa reportedly arrived later in the evening and “yelled at” Katharina, whom one source described as Lenny’s “new girlfriend.” A different source said that the reality star was “shocked by what she saw” between Lenny and Katharina and is now “trying to explore what’s next and best for her and her kids.” The second insider also alleged that Lisa and Lenny were “trying to work things out” amid a rough patch in their marriage but that things between them “spiraled” following the nightclub incident. When contacted for comment on the report, Lenny told the New York Post’s gossip column, “Not true. Nice try though.” It’s no secret that Lisa and Lenny have struggled in the past: She admitted in late 2021 that they nearly split after he had an emotional affair before their two children were born.

He had to leave a show that he loved, which caused chaos in his life,” said a source, adding that Sheree became “unhappy” and began looking for “something more.” Continued the insider, “Their lives have been in the coasting stage for a while. After a long marriage, it’s not that unusual. … The marriage has been just coexisting for a while. … They have grown apart but are doing everything to protect [their three] children and keep things as normal as possible.”

So I don’t want to have to even filter that out with my relationship. … I don’t want to give anybody any reason to rain on my parade because I’m really happy.” The mother of two went on to say that her boyfriend, who’s also a parent, is “amazing” with her children. “He’s just an amazing human. Grant Michael Troutt, so full of passion and purpose and joy, I am proud I get to do life with someone who loves Jesus and people like you do. The past five months have been the best and wildest adventure. Full of highs and lows but there’s nobody else in the world I’d rather do life with. It’s been special since the first date: when you forgot to open my car door because we were both so nervous, when we barely touched our quesadillas at dinner because of our deep convos and intentional questions, and then ending the night riding around listening to Drake in the car on full blast for hours. You are my best friend. My favorite hello. My hardest goodbye. There’s nobody else in the world like you. Let’s keep dreaming, vibing, serving, and loving,” she captioned a slideshow of photos with her beau. Grant also shared a lengthy tribute to Madi, captioning his own slideshow of photos, “Madison, crazy how fast five months has flown by? You make me smile like nobody else. You have an infectious laughter and joy about you that is so attractive to the world. You love people fiercely. I’ve never met somebody that walks with such grace and beauty… You seek to honor God with all that you are. You inspire me to be better. I laugh hard with you and have also cried deeply with you. Been in some really awesome highs with you, and had some really hard moments too… You’re my first call through it all. You’re by my side. I’m so glad I met you lil Madi rose. Hand in hand. My ride or die. I’ve enjoyed every second of this ride. Could write a book on what I’ve learned from your heart, but I’ll save that for another time.” Madison had an epic split from Peter Weber on season 24 of “The Bachelor” in 2020.
