That’s why many people have taken to swapping their oven for efficient air fryers.

The handy appliances have so many uses when it comes to cooking, including making the perfect jacket potato.

According to Diana Zavzeatii, a TikTok chef better known as @‌busyavocado, air fryers and baked potatoes go together so well it’s hard to go back to traditional cooking methods once you’ve tried it.

In a video shared on her page, Diana said: “Did you know that you can bake potatoes in an air fryer?

”It’s so quick and easy and they come out perfect every single time.”

Demonstrating the method with her Nutricook air fryer, the chef started by piercing holes in four raw, washed spuds using a fork.

She then laid them in a shallow bowl and sprinkled them with oil and salt before rolling them around to ensure the skin was fully coated.

Next, Diana lined the fryer with a circular sheet of baking paper and placed the prepared potatoes inside.

To cook the spuds, she air-fried them at 200C for 40-45 minutes. While doing this, she noted that the cooking method warrants unbeatable results, with potatoes that are “crispy from the outside and fluffy from the inside”.
