NYC’s best holiday pop-up shops for 2018

Moncler The House of Genius, 106 Spring St.

Moncler Genius is a genius idea: the luxe Alpine brand partners with tastemakers and designers on exclusive, ultracreative pieces. Bundle up in elegant ruffled puffers by Simone Rocha and dramatic, cone-shaped duvet coats by Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccioli, and keep your laptop and dog cozy in their own petite puffers. Find limited-edition items in black and yellow from The Yellow collection at the store, open through Dec. 30, and other quilted wares to keep you and your loved ones warm.

LuisaViaRoma @ Spring Studios, Spring Studios and Spring Place, 6 St. Johns Lane

Italy’s equivalent of Net-a-Porter, LuisaViaRoma, has teamed with Spring Studios and Spring Place on a pop-up open through Dec. 15. Not only can shoppers choose from 300 pieces from brands like Versace, Missoni and Attico (above), but 30,000 additional online items are available to order on interactive digital screens. Overwhelmed by the massive selection? A team of stylists is on hand to help.

Savage x Fenty, 577 Broadway

Rihanna makes sizzling undies for every body and shape, and that means bras, sized 32A to 44DDD, and panties up to size 3X. Score the singer and actress’ hottest Savage X Fenty lingerie and loungewear — think lacy bralettes, oversized satin PJs and charm thongs for the season — at this airy Soho boutique through February. And if you want to see her provocative pieces on the runway, watch the video of her body-positive show on the Web site.

Alfred Tea, Barneys New York, 660 Madison Ave.

Steeped in West Coast cool, the Los Angeles hot spot Alfred Tea Room is brewing on the seventh floor of Barneys New York. Loose leaves are on the menu, of course, along with an exclusive “Matcha in Blue” drink and tees, hats, mugs and more. The millennial pink space is illuminated by the famous neon “Tea, Yes. You, Maybe” sign. Open Thursday-Sunday through Dec. 23, from noon to 6 pm.

Dundas, 57 Greene St.

Like his jetsetting customers, the Dundas Traveling Flagship hops from international destination to destination. The store is touching down in New York through Feb. 19, packed with the designer’s sparkly gowns (Beyoncé is a fan), sexy minidresses and luscious cashmere capes that will take you to soirées in style.

Dior, 400 W. 14th St.

Stock up on Dior’s pastoral Toile de Jouy prints at the house’s temporary Meatpacking District home, open through spring. The house’s Cruise 2019 collection by Artistic Director Maria Grazia Chiuri celebrates the famous French fabric that dates back to the 18th century. Modern versions with unexpected animals like tigers, bears and giraffes cover everything here, from the ready-to-wear and accessories to window displays. Three-dimensional wild-animal sculptures inspired by the textiles “roam” the space, which also carries a Dior Maison capsule.

Kiehl’s Gifting Workshop, 513 Broadway

Make like an elf at Kiehl’s Gifting Workshop, open through Dec. 24, and personalize your gift in four fun steps. Simply select your favorite products, then package them in your tissue paper and box of choice, then top it with stickers, ribbons and gift tags. The “Kiehl’s On The Go” wall, meanwhile, holds travel-size items plus bags or tins to stow them. Also on offer: photos in a Kiehl’s “snow globe” and a lounge for much-needed shopping breaks.

Mackage, 814 Madison Ave.

Weather the cold snap at this luxury outerwear outpost, full of stylishly cozy parkas, jackets, coats and more and open through February. Just to drive the polar point home, the brand has filled the space with iceberg sculptures and “flipped iceberg” photographs from Antarctica by photographer Alex Cornell.

CFDA x Armarium, Cadillac House, 330 Hudson St.

If you’re more of a borrower and less of a buyer, there’s a pop-up for you, too. The CFDA is partnering with designer rental company Armarium on a Haute Holiday experience. Party pieces by Christian Siriano, Jonathan Simkhai, Jason Wu, Prabal Gurung and others are on loan, while Tabitha Simmons shoes are for sale. Open through Dec. 23, this collab presents a cost-effective way to rock the latest runway looks.
